Hello and welcome and thank you for being here. This is my first video. In this video, I take some time to introduce myself. I am a Marriage and Family therapist in the state of Texas. After much consideration and a lot of back and forth, I have finally taken the plunge to putting myself out more on the web, otherwise how will my community find some of the help they may need. It was not an easy choice for me because I have a more introverted personality, but  I understand the importance of putting myself out there in order to support the community more than ever, and especially with everything that we have going on at the moment. I know that there is much help and support out there for all of us, and I am so grateful that this is the case. At times it even feels overwhelming how much information we must filter through in the web. My hope is that no matter what you may be going through, and what stage in your life you are in, that you will be able to find support within the words I post on my blog or maybe something I say in one of my videos. I hope that I am able to support you in your life and in your personal growth process. These are some of the reasons why I finally decided to push myself and start creating more content.

This first video was taped outside in my garden in order to share with you one of the things that helps me maintain balance in my life. I specially thought it would be nice to share this space with you during this time. I know that parks were closed here in Houston for a while and this is my way of connecting you back to nature for a little while. I am hoping that you find your own way of connecting to nature.

As I continue with my own journey, I will be releasing different content. I had some topics in mind that I had been sitting with for a while, and I may get to them at some point in the future. For now, I will be posting content that is more pertinent to what we are experiencing in our lives now. I figured that it was important to just take the plunge and release the first video before I changed my mind again. My channel on YouTube is called Holding Space because that is exactly what I do in my therapy sessions, I hold a safe place for my clients to explore, seek, grow and transform. I would like to have the same energy on my YouTube channel, the place where I will be holding space to have different conversations. A place where we can collect, share, and spread seeds so we can watch them grow at different times throughout our lifetime.
